Kimchi is a fermented side dish that is the staple of Korean cuisine. The most common types are napa cabbage and radish, though there are in fact many more kinds of kimchi made from various leafy greens or root vegetables.
Each batch of volcano kimchi is brined and then fermented at room temperature for several days, depending on the weather. Some people prefer young kimchi that is less fermented. Others like it sour. The ideal time, imho, is between 2-3 weeks fermented.
Aruna was born in South Korea, and grew up in a buddhist monastery where every meal included home-grown and locally-harvested vegetables, served in vibrant and nutritious ways. Some of her earliest memories are of sneaking away to steal bites of kimchi from the assortment of crock pots that lined the temple walls. Aruna came to San Francisco in 2001, and while San Francisco is now home, the memory of those flavors is as fresh today as it was then. This is the guiding inspiration she uses in preparing each batch of Volcano Kimchi.

Yes, we work only with highly reliable hosts. Every single one of our hosts is a small business owner. We either saw them in action, received a recommendation from another client or had a personal call to go over their proposed activity. Small business owners spend years mastering their skills. They put great care into planning your experience.
Definitely! Look for the badge "This host can travel to your location" on the experience you want to book. Make sure to select "My office" as your preferred location.
Some office buildings require a certificate of insurance. We will ask you to check on these requirements after you book. Our hosts can usually add your building as "additional insured" on their certificate for free but this may take a few days. In addition, there may be some back-and-forth with your building management to agree on the coverage. Don't worry: we'll guide you through the process. If you need a last-minute certificate of insurance, we will help you buy one (the average cost of one-off event insurance is around $150).

Cancel seven calendar days before your event and get a full refund. All other cancelations are not refundable. However, if the experience host agrees, you can receive a voucher for the same experience on another date. Simply answer the email thread we will start with you or contact hello@spaciously.io
You can change your team-building event up to 7 days before your event date. In addition, you can add up to 5 people up to 3 days before the event. We are very collaborative when it comes to event adjustments. Ultimately, we all want your event to be successful because we want to be your partners for a long time!
