About the host

Meet Jeff Mao: Educator, Tech Guru, and Dough Whisperer

Jeff Mao kneads together his passions for education and culinary arts with the finesse of a master baker. As the founder of KneadandNosh.com, he's on a mission to prove that anyone can create carb-tastic magic in their kitchen.

By day, Jeff's the Executive Director of Vita-Learn, championing tech in education across Vermont. By night (and weekends), he's elbow-deep in flour, crafting New York-style bagels and Chinese dumplings that would make your grandmother proud.

This Bowdoin College alum once sprinted his way to four college track records. Now, he races between writing cookbooks and perfecting recipes. His "Essential Chinese Hot Pot Cookbook" hit shelves in 2021, and he's currently rolling out his second book all about bagels.

From leading global tech conferences to teaching bagel workshops at bread fairs, Jeff proves that life is what you bake of it. Whether he's inspiring educators or aspiring bakers, Jeff Mao is always rising to new challenges - just like his perfectly proofed dough!
