Spark Studio owner, Carrie Leeb loves designing and making anything and everything. She’s skilled at getting people to experiment and feel comfortable while exploring their creative side. Her philosophy about art making - Rule no.1: Have Fun! - is infused in every project and how she teaches.
Carrie has had a series of careers in creative fields from graphic design, illustration, painting, sculpture, photography, interiors and furniture design + fabrication to inventing and designing a reusable holiday tree made of wood, ReTree, and taking it to market.
As an award-winning graphic designer, Carrie worked in New York and San Francisco, and took sabbaticals in Paris, Mexico and Argentina, where she practiced photography and painting (French and Spanish, too!). As a painter and sculptor, she was represented by galleries in Los Angeles and New York, and also showed internationally.
