Hi, I'm Mike, the owner of Z. Cioccolato. Sweets have always been my weakness and retail has always been in my blood.
I was just 14 years old working as a box boy in my grandfather's department store in Humboldt County when I fell in love with retail. Years later my weakness for sweets sprang to life when I opened Lickity Split, my own frozen yogurt shop.
After that, I found myself back in retail selling pillows for an Italian bedding company, but I couldn’t get my mind off the idea of owning my own sweets shop.
In 2015 I learned the original owners of Z. Cioccolato were retiring and I leapt at the opportunity. And that’s how I went from selling pillows to being a Chocolatier!
Z. Cioccolato is world famous for layered fudges using innovative and seasonal flavors. Our artisan chefs craft these fudges 6 pounds at a time featuring over 100 varieties of fudge throughout the year.
