Celebrate National Coffee Day with some fun activities!
It is believed that National Coffee Day was first celebrated in Japan in 1983, and this holiday has made its way to the United States over the years. It was officially recognized as a holiday in the United States in 2005, and it is said that the National Coffee Association chose the date of September 29th.
From Ethiopia to America, coffee has come a long way. Coffee’s journey begins in Ethiopia, travels to the Arabian Peninsula, and the coffee houses of Europe in the 17th century. From there, it made its way to the Americas. It is a day to embrace the coffee bean and your favorite brew.
Everyone has a story of how they came to drink coffee, so take your team on a walk to your favorite coffee shop and share your stories with a cup of their favorite brews.
